Morpheus, sometimes referred to as Morpheus8 or M8, is a device that combines microneedling with radiofrequency technology for fractional resurfacing that stimulates collagen production. The result is smoother, firmer, and more toned skin. RF, or radio frequency, is able to address collagen and elastin production at a deeper level than just microneedling alone. It’s our latest and greatest full-body, non-surgical, anti-aging tool that stimulates a serious skin-tightening process thanks to the addition of radio frequency technology. Morpheus8 is more than just a microneedling device. Maybe now after leaving this review someone from the company will contact me back so I can get some answers as to what to do with what I am left with under my eyes from Morpheus 8.You probably heard of microneedling – a dermapen procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin, in order to generate new collagen production in your skin. This by far has been the WORST experience which was advertised as a great, non invasive, no downtime procedure. I have had good success in keeping my skin as youthful as possible until getting the Morpheus 8 procedure. I also do Botox, filler, microdermabrasion, micro needling and peels as needed for the last 20+ years. I do regular facials and use predominantly medical grade skin care. I am a 49 year old Caucasian woman who is extremely seasoned in taking great care of my skin. Also, since I do have daily pictures I see NO positive outcome in the other areas of my face and neck that were also treated. In addition, the skin around my eyes is more wrinkled and creepier than before the procedure. I did not have any such marks under my eyes prior to this AWFUL procedure and fortunately have pictures that were taken right before the Morpheus 8 was preformed. It is now just about 5 weeks later, I am left with dark bruising, or circles under my eyes (which cannot be covered with makeup) that make me look 10 years older than before I did this procedure. That person passed the buck and sent me to another extension in the company where I left a message and have never heard back. I spoke to and told my whole ordeal to customer service. I also contacted Inmode myself hoping to get some advice. The doctor had little to no answers other than my skin was thin in this area. I went for two follow up appts to discuss the severe bruising, poor skin texture and my extreme dissatisfaction and growing concerns. I also suggested they contact Inmode as I was extremely concerned to the degree of damage to my skin and growing bruising. I also documented daily with photos and videos, as well as, notified the doctors office. ![]() I was advised to ice, use arnica and purchased the post care cream they recommended.īy the next day I had severe bruising, swelling and soreness under both eyes which continued for a several weeks. By the time the procedure was completed, about 45 minutes later, both eyes were bruising. Within several minutes of the procedure I already had the beginnings of bruising under my one eye. I was advised this would help and address this area with little to no downtime. I also, prior to the procedure spoke to the doctor, Morpheus sales rep and office staff, that this procedure would be safe and effective for targeting fine lines and creepiness around my eyes. Prior to doing the procedure I did plenty of my own online research if this procedure would be a good fit for me. ![]() I had my first, last and ONLY Morpheus 8 procedure performed by a doctor on October 29, 2020.
